The Triumph Tiger 800 XC was introduced in 2010 alongside its sibling, the 800 XR. The main difference between these bikes was that the Triumph Tiger 800 XC had a 21-inch front wheel with aluminium spokes. In 2011 the Triumph Tiger 800 XC was named the best dual-sport bike by Cycle World, partly in thanks to the inline-3 799 cubic centimetre engine.
